The Wright Brothers are the first to achieve powered, manned flight. Although the flight only lasted for 12 seconds and only went 120 feet, it solidified the Brothers’ place in history and changed the way the world communicated forever.

KITTY HAWK continues on the path that was started by FIRST, the highly acclaimed VR demo sponsored by Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) for the 2015 Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) in Los Angeles, CA. The demo utilized prototype “Fury X” graphics cards from AMD and prototype “Oculus Rift” VR hardware (“Crescent Bay”) from Oculus. The experience was praised for its groundbreaking application of VR in education by a number of prominent publications such as the Financial Times, LA Business Journal, and Fortune Magazine. KITTY HAWK, curated by the world’s leading experts from the Smithsonian’s National Air & Space Museum, will be our first piece available to the general public at a number of leading museums across the country in 2018.
